तामगी गाउका गुरुङ (Tamu) निवासीहरुको दाहसंस्कार स्थल तिग्यु हो रयो ठाउँ गाउबाट करिब डेढ किलोमिटर दक्षिणमा अवस्थित छ। यो स्थानतामागी निवासीहरुका लागि जीवनको अन्तिम बिसाउने स्थान हो। तामागीतमु निवासीहरुका दाहसंस्कारमा लाश आगोमा जलाउनु सामान्य हो।दाहसंस्कारको प्रक्रिया तिब्बती बौद्ध दर्शन अनुसार गरिन्छ । सबै निवासीहरुसक्रिय रुपमा यसमा सहभागी हुन्छन। दाहसंस्कारको प्रक्रियामा आवस्यकस्रोत तथा साधनको आपूर्तिमा सबै घरधुरीबाट जुटाइने गरिन्छ। उधाहरणकारुपमा हरेक घरधुरी बाट लाश जलौनाको निमित्त दौराको भारि उपलब्धगराइन्छ।
बेलायत स्थित तामागी समाजले हाल सव दाह स्थल तिग्यु को स्तरउन्नतिगर्ने इक्षा ब्यक्त गरेको छ। यसले तामागी निवासीहरु र यसकाडायसपोरामा नया उर्जा मिल्नेछ र तामागीलाई साझा लक्षमा एकताबद्ध गर्नेछ।

Tigyu-Chhogo is the traditional cremation site for Tamu residents of Tamagi. Located about 1.5 km, south of the main village, this is the final resting place for the souls of Tamagi residents. The common practice of cremation by fire is carried out following Tibetan Buddhist traditions. The entire village participates in these ceremonial events, making available all necessary resources such as wood for the cremation fire, etc.
Interestingly, the Tamagi diaspora community in UK have recently expressed interest in restoring and upgrading the cremation site. This will hopefully foster unity and increased cultural awareness as they work with locals to achieve their common goal.
