Phyagyu, a water source located in the eastern part of Tamagi, above the familiar rice fields/terraces, has been supplying drinking water to Tamagi residents for decades. During periods when drinking water is scarce, villagers rely on water from this source. The Tamagi Museum and Learning Centre also sources its water supply from Phyagyu, cleaning and renewing the water post in the hopes of preserving it for future generations.
