In the Tamu language, “Li” translates as faeces or excrement and “Dhu” refers to a place where something is carried out. Thus, Lisadhu refers to a place to defecate. Lisadhu is a secluded location to the east of the village, routinely used by villagers to “do their business” long before family toilets were constructed in private households.
