यो ठाउँ तामागी संग्रहालयको संस्कृतिक तथा प्राकृतिक पदमार्गको उचाई २०६५ मिटरमा रहेको छ। यो मन्दिरलाई स्थानिय निवासीहरुले कोइफेरा नामले चिनिन्छ। यो मन्दिर पुरुष देवताको रुपमा मानिन्छ। लामो खडेरी तथा असिना पनिबाट बलिनाली जोगाउन सकोस भन्ने आशा ले कोइफेराको पुजा गर्ने चलन छ। पुजामा बोकाको बलि दिने चलन छ।
स्थानिय पुर्खेली भनाइ अनुशार पन्ध्र तथा सोह्र सताब्दिमा जुन बेला नेपालमा बाईसे चौबिससेराजाहरुले सासन गर्दथिए, कोइफेरा नजिकै गुरुङ राजाकोपनि बासस्थान थियो। एस भनाइसंग जोडिएका केही भगनावसेसहरु १५ – २० मीटर मन्दिरको उत्तरी भागको तल तिर देख्न सकिन्छ।

Koifera is generally regarded to be a male deity. Locals worship Kofera to ensure that crops are protected against droughts, hailstones or bad weather. Only goats are sacrificed to this God.  
According to legend (local folklore), during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries when the Baaese and Chaubise ruled in Nepal (during the 22^nd and 24^th dynasties), the Gurung Raja (king) also had a residence near Koifera.
